Life's A Beach

I ventured to the beach today with the girls and myself.  This is the first time this season.  I manage fine at the pool but was a bit nervous about the ocean.  It's very different then the pool especially with little ones.  I have to say the girls were amazing.  Everyone listened and we all were safe and had a wonderful day in the sun.

I forgot how much I LOVE the beach.  I love watching the ocean and hearing the waves.  I love watching my girls enjoy building sand castles and jumping the waves.  I grew up at the beach.  It's what we did everyday all summer long.  I miss the feeling you get when you are at the beach.  No, not sun burn.  We are big on sunblock :-)  I'm talking about the relaxed feeling.  The forgetting your troubles for a day and enjoying the beauty of the ocean feeling.  I feel so blessed that we live so close to the beach.  I now get to help build fun summer memories with my girls.  I hope that they grow up loving the beach as much as I do.

The unbelievable part is how darn tired you get from being there all day.  I thought for sure the girls would be wiped out.  They all stayed awake and even had more energy to play when we got home.
I on the otherhand will probably go to bed after I get them settled for the night.

What a perfect day!  I can't wait to do it again.

Don't aim for success if you want it; just do what you love and believe in, and it will come naturally.
