Healthy Choices

Finding time to exercise is one of the things I struggle with so often.  I decided I am just going to do it.  Will I enjoy getting up at 6 or earlier during summer vavcation, probably not at first.  I do know that once I start, I will love how I feel and look.  That in itself is enough motivation.  Nothing changes unless we make the change.  I have to stop talking about it and just do it :-)

I love my family too much to let myself go and not be healthy.  I want my daughters to love themselves and care enough to make healthy choices.  Plus, we Moms deserve to take some time to care for ourselves.  I do not want to live with any more regrets or "I should haves."  It is not fair to me, my husband or children.

This doesn't mean we need to go and sign up for a marathon.  Small steps!!!  I will start my exercise regime and my healthy eating today!  I am going to make a change and I can't wait.  I'll keep you posted on my progress.  The other trick I am going to use is I am going to keep a journal of what I put in my mouth, good or bad.  If I am accountable for it, I may chose healthier options.

So, who is in with me?  I know we can do it.  No more negative feelings about our bodies.  Let's love who we are and be thankful for the body God blessed us with.

If you want to make your dreams come true, the first thing you have to do is wake up.  ~J.M. Power

Don't aim for success if you want it; just do what you love and believe in, and it will come naturally.
