Hi Friends!  Wow it has been such a long time and so much has happened since my last post.  Well, I had my wrist surgery on Tuesday.  So far, so good.  I have a huge cast on my right arm up to above my elbow, but the surgery itself went well.  I had a rough first two days...a lot of pain, but now I am adjusting and learning to let others help me.  This is not an easy task.  I like to think I am a pretty independent person when it comes to myself and our family.  My husband works long hours and usually arrives home as the kids are getting ready for bed.  So, now with all of this happening our schedules are being tested.  We are figuring it all out and hopefully my arm will rest and heal so we can get back to "normal."  I have to say my husband is getting good at doing my hair haha!  The first ponytail didn't work so well =)  My daughters are so helpful.  My 7 year old is getting good at blow drying my hair. What a big help!!!

Unfortunately, I am having a very difficult time typing so I am going to have to keep my posts very simple and short.  We decorated for Christmas this weekend and that just makes my heart smile.  I love this time of year.  The house looks great and I could sit and stare at the tree all night long.  One of my favorite things to do during Christmas is to sit by the tree and watch "It's a Wonderful Life."  My Mom  and I did it every year, along with many other Christmas movies.  This one is my favorite though and I can't wait to pull out the DVD.  Wishing y'all a great Monday!!!

Nobody trips over mountains.  It is the small pebble that causes you to stumble.  Pass all the pebbles in your path and you will find you have crossed the mountain.  ~Author Unknown

Don't aim for success if you want it; just do what you love and believe in, and it will come naturally.
