I don't know if it is my slight case of OCD or that I just like to know where my things are? It drives me insane when I misplace something. I then in return drive my family crazy obsessing over where it is hiding.
This is a bit different, but today a nice little lizard made its way inside the house. I noticed it scampering across the floor and of course I screamed. I have been living here almost ten years and I will never like lizards especially in my house!!! The girls thought it was funny. Caroline, my 4 year old nature lover wants to keep it. Sofia, my 2 year old states, "Yuck." My thoughts exactly darling. My level headed 7 year old tells me it probably went out a hole in the floor in my husband's office. I know you are probably saying a hole in the floor? It is a hole that has all the computer wires running down into the crawl space so that his computer on his desk and keyboard are all wireless. It looks nice and the hole is under a credenza. It's not a very big hole, but then again lizards are not very big. I guess I never thought about the creatures that could come through that way. Until today.
So, all day I have been obsessing over this stupid little lizard. Who most likely just wants to be outside. Although, if I were a lizard I would probably prefer the AC over the 100 degree temp outside. Maybe he is a smart lizard afterall. Either way, it is now night time and all I can think about is that creature finding its way to my bedroom. I'll let you know if I sleep at all tonight :-)
